Heavy rain and high winds are expected to persist in the western portion of the country through Monday.
Met Éireann has issued a yellow wind warning for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, and Sligo until 12 pm on Monday. Winds of up to 50-65km/h with gusts of 90-110km/h are expected to cause problems, according to the prediction.
On Saturday evening, the weather caused power disruptions in Salthill, Fermoy, Ballina, and Castlecomer.
Spot floods and slick road conditions have also been reported in certain parts of the country.
The weather will improve across the nation on Tuesday, with highs of 13 to 16 degrees, but Wednesday will be a rainy day in many locations, according to Met Éireann.
Thursday will begin generally dry, with sunny periods and temperatures ranging from 13 to 16 degrees.
