A Dublin student fell unconscious as he was attacked from behind during an unprovoked attack in South Dublin. He was attacked when he enjoyed few takeaway pints from a nearby pub and walked away. He told that he was enjoying the evening and a woman was sitting beside him on the wall enjoying wine together.
Two young people dressed in black came behind him and started punching him on the back of his head. He was continuously hit even after he fell down. He could hear them laughing before he felt unconscious.
The student didn’t seek medical help and didn’t even let the Garda know such an incident happened. Later he felt himself difficult in concentrating in classes and a week later reported this incident to Garda and asked for more security on streets to avoid such incidents again.
