Nurses in UHL ICU begin industrial action

The intensive care nurses at University Hospital Limerick started a work-to-rule strike on Friday morning. Ryanair has stated that it is cancelling 420 flights, affecting 80,000 passengers, due to a strike by French air traffic controllers that will take place tomorrow.
