US warns the allies and people of Afghan about possible terrorist attacks. The US President Joe Biden today warned more attacks from the so-called ISIS-K terrorists is expected in Kabul in the next 24-36 hours. Biden’s statement comes in light of Thursday’s suicide bomber attacks near the airport in Kabul, which left at least 85 dead including 13 US troops.
The terrorist group Islamic State of Khorasan had claimed the responsibility for the attack.
In response to the attack, the Central Command of US yesterday confirmed an anti-terrorist air strike was taken place targeting the planners of airport attack. The attack took place Saturday morning according to the Pentagon and two stack planners of ISIS-K were killed.
Mr Biden reminded that the strike against terrorists would not be last and the extremists could expect more.
“This strike was not the last,” Mr Biden said in a statement.
“We will continue to hunt down any person involved in that heinous attack and make them pay.”
He also paid tribute to the US troops killed in the attack on Thursday.
