Once again, there was no winner of Saturday night’s massive €19 million jackpot.
Lotto fever has gripped Ireland this week ahead of tonight’s historic draw, as the jackpot draw is the highest amount ever seen in the game after almost four months of rollovers.
But tonight no one won the whopping €19 million jackpot.
Generally, the money that would normally go to the jackpot will be given to the next lower prize tier at which there are winners, meaning that we are set to see even huge winners at the lower tier.
On Friday, the National Lottery estimated that around €1.2 million in additional prize money will now flow to the next prize tier where there will be a winner.
Around 233,000 players in total won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, including one winner of the Match 5 + Bonus prize, winning €1,262,603.
