Yellow Wind warning for eight counties tomorrow

A Yellow Wind warning has been issued for eight counties along west coast as gusts of up to 90km per hour are forecasted by Met Eireann. The warning is for counties Clare, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Kerry and Cork. The officials also warned that tomorrow would be an ‘unreasonably windy day.’

Met Eireann also warned people going to sea or lakes to take extra precautions as the wind can not be predicted.  It is advised better not to engage in water throughout the day. The warning will be in effect from 6am to 3pm for six counties and for Kerry, the warning will be from 8 am to 11pm. In Cork county, warning will be in effect from 9am until 1pm.
