The investigation into a criminal group posing as garda has resulted in the arrest of five persons.
Six searches were carried out in three counties yesterday morning in the Dublin and Eastern regions.
The searches also resulted in the seizure of three Rolex watches, three automobiles, and €3,000 in cash by the garda.
In addition to the woman in her fifties, four males in their 30s to 60s were also arrested.
The inquiry is still ongoing, according to Kilkenny Garda Station.
