Well-known dealer of Ford Motors in the country CAB Motors has been acquired by the dealership giant Joe Duffy Motor Group.
Joe Duffy Motor Group is one of Ireland’s pioneer new and used car dealers with operations at 22 locations nationwide. They started the first showroom back in 1970.
CAB Motors was founded in 1925 and was later bought by Tom Cavanagh in 1973. They were showing a loss of €411,718 in the recent auditing at the end of 2019 and assumed to be struggling to maintain the business.
Joe Duffy Motor Group had reported a sales close to €338 million in 2020 which is a 5% increase. The annual profit was reported €7.1 million last year. They sell 21 brands under the dealership.
