Attempts to abscond hotel quarantine have been a very serious issue in Ireland recently. Garda had spotted and chased three women, who tried to skip hotel quarantine and escape in their car, almost 150 kilometres away.
It is believed that the women are Brazilians who tried their luck to reach their home at Loughrea, Co Galway. Till now the authorities have no idea on when and where they flown into the country.
The women stayed in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in North Dublin before trying to escape from there. The Garda spotted them and convinced them by word about the quarantine rules and took them back.
