Ireland’s U17 badminton player, Indian Origin Michelle Shochan entered the quarter-finals at the German U17 open badminton tournament with two remarkable wins.
In the girls U17 singles match Michelle defeated Germany’s Winnefeld 21-14 21-14, In the last 32.
In the last 16, Michelle defeated the number 3 seed Belgium’s Boonen 21-10 21-8.
The tournament is happening at Bergisch Gladbach, Germany from 9th to 12th June 2022.
