The Indian women’s cricket team defeated Pakistan Women in their second T20I match of the campaign, at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
India scored 102/2 in just 11.4 overs to beat Pakistan.
After deciding to bat, Pakistan was dismissed for 99 runs with Sneh Rana (2/15) and Radha Yadav (2/18) each getting two wickets after the rain forced the match to be reduced to 18 overs.
One wicket was taken by each Renuka Singh (1/20), Meghna Singh (1/21), and Shafali Verma (1/8).
With a 30-ball 32, Pakistan’s opening player Muneeba Ali led the team in scoring.
India’s response saw them surpass the target in 11.4 overs with Smriti Mandhana’s unbeaten 42-ball 63.
