Notable candidates include Varghese Joy, running for a management seat, and Somi Thomas, contesting for the clinical seat. Thresya P Devassya and Shyam Krishnan are also in the race for management and clinical seats, respectively. Soman, with the organization’s backing, is contesting in Jibin Matat for the clinical seat. These elections, featuring 14 clinical and 3 management seats, mark a crucial step for Migrant Nurses Ireland, recognized for its commendable work in addressing the diverse needs of nurses and care assistants, particularly from various nationalities like Indians in Ireland. Starting March 4th, INMO members will receive mail-in ballots, urging all nurses to actively participate before the deadline on March 22nd. The organization’s leadership appeals for widespread support to ensure the success of their dedicated candidates.
