More than 2,300 applications have been submitted for 46 discounted rent apartments at Google’s Bolands Mills Quarter in Dublin, but only 23 per cent have met the eligibility criteria.
Launched last week, the apartments are designated for key workers, including gardaí, nurses, and teachers.
Applicants must also have a connection to the local area and meet requirements regarding affordability, household size, and income limits.
The application process remains open until 5 March, with all eligible candidates entered into a lottery.
The apartments are offered at rents up to 36 per cent below market rates.
Monthly rents are set at €1,710 for 35 two-bedroom units, €1,850 for ten three-bedroom units, and €2,100 for one large three-bedroom unit.
