A massive new car park offering over 6,000 parking spaces will open next Monday, 10 March, just outside Dublin Airport, providing a significant boost to travelers’ parking options. The Park2Travel facility will operate 24/7 and feature a shuttle bus service to transport passengers directly to and from the airport terminal.

The car park, previously known as Quick Park, comes as a welcome solution to the airport’s parking challenges, particularly after experiencing completely sold-out parking spaces during last summer’s peak travel season. The facility has been designed with modern travelers in mind, including dedicated charging stations for electric vehicles.
APCOA, Europe’s largest parking company, will manage the new parking facility. Neil Cunningham, APCOA Ireland’s managing director, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing “a convenient, secure and sustainable airport parking experience” for customers.
According to The Journal, Travelers can pre-book their parking spaces through the Park2Travel website, offering convenience and peace of mind before their journey. The car park’s launch follows a previous attempt by DAA, the airport’s management body, to operate the site, which was blocked by the competition watchdog in April last year.
The new parking facility represents a significant investment in Dublin Airport’s infrastructure, addressing the growing demand for secure and accessible parking options for air travelers. With its substantial capacity and round-the-clock service, the Park2Travel car park is set to become a key amenity for passengers departing from Dublin Airport.
