Indian-Origin Thodupuzha Families In Ireland Prepare For Historic Family Reunion

Thodupuzha Families in Ireland are set to make history in Europe with an unprecedented family reunion, announcing a remarkable 400 kg of rice as a gift. The event, organized by the Indian-origin Thodupuzha Families in Ireland, celebration of their ninth anniversary, showcasing love and brotherhood while invoking Thodupuzha’s rich cultural heritage.

The festivities will feature a grand fair of arts and sports competitions, with the venue at Blanchardstown GAA Club, scheduled for October 14, 2023, from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.

The event introduces some unique sports competitions, such as the Tug-of-War competition with 210 kgs of native kuthari, featuring categories for both men and women. There’s also the Panchagusti Competition with 90 kg of Nadan Kuthari, further divided into weight categories for both men and women.

Children are not left out, as they can participate in musical chair and mitten collecting competitions.
